It sure has been a whirlwind since we sold the dairy cows last month! We are still trying to adjust without them. We have our good days and our bad days.
In the mix of it all, I went to Honduras to teach women how to sew useable hygiene items.
AND – my sister and I launched our underwear company!
In 2015, my sister and I had an idea to sell underwear. It has been a crazy roller coaster ride that I will soon blog about, but our vision has finally come to life!
We didn’t start this company because we are designers who went to design school. We didn’t start it because we just love underwear. We didn’t start it to become the next big millionaires. We started it because we knew our lives had a bigger purpose than just the 40 hour work week. We became entrepreneurs somehow. And none of it was our idea. All credit goes to the man upstairs.
The vision for our underwear company is a 1+1 concept. When we sell a pair of underwear from our underwear line, we will donate a pair of underwear to a woman in need to use during her monthly cycle. We are excited to change the underwear industry – something that has become over-sexualized. We are excited to allow people to purchase underwear with a purpose in mind…. to help other women worldwide.
Our underwear is finalized and soon going into the manufacturing stages. Like I said, it has been a whirlwind this last month! As soon as I am able to get my thoughts together I will blog about it, so stay tuned!
